NOTHING BUT NET is the VEX game of 2015 - 2016. The objective of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by Scoring your Balls and Bonus Balls in your Low and High Goals, and by Elevating Robots in your Climbing Zone.
There are ninety-four (94) Balls and ten (10) Bonus Balls, available as Scoring Objects. Some Scoring Objects begin in designated locations on the field, while others are available to be entered into the field during to the Match.
COMPETITON:
The RoboPanthers competed on December 5th, 2015 at the Castlebrooke competition in Brampton, Ontario. After discovering various problems with the bot before inspection, the RoboPanthers solved every situation that had arose with positive minds, even if they were the last team to pass inspection of the bot. After five qualifying matches, Team 4718 was ranked 18th out of 49 teams, and was then selected to join an alliance where they worked together to win their quarter finals match. Unfortunately our alliance had lost in the semi-finals, but had also qualified for provincials!
