TEAM 2012-2013

This team was the very first generation of RoboPanthers, they managed to come on top when faced with many problems as they built what was then Blessed Pope John Paul II C.S.S.'s very first robot to compete in FRC. These fresh faces and ambitious minds strived to achieve high in their very first year at competition.

CAPTAIN'S QUOTE

"Blessed Pope John Paul II’s school robotics team, The RoboPanthers, this year had the opportunity to participate for the first time in the FIRST robotics competition. Throughout January and February, the students worked collaboratively to build a robot capable of moving around, climbing a pyramid structure and shooting Frisbees consistently. Team members dedicated their time to this project, spending late nights and weekends working on the robot. The members of the team gained invaluable experiences in the building process, as they designed the robot, worked with materials and tools in the wood shop, wired the robot and programmed it to function as it should. The team encountered several challenges while building the robot, and through troubleshooting, the team was able to overcome them. Moderators of the school and helping engineers provided the team with guidance throughout the entire process."
